Job Summary

As a (Senior) Consultant for Observability, you will act as a strategic advisor to clients, focusing on the design, implementation, and optimization of monitoring solutions. Your daily responsibilities include managing Digital Experience Monitoring and Network Monitoring using tools like ThousandEyes across hybrid IT landscapes, including On-Prem, AWS, and Azure. You will analyze network and application data to identify performance bottlenecks, lead troubleshooting efforts, and create transparent dashboards and reports. Beyond technical execution, you will conduct workshops, support pre-sales activities by demonstrating the value of observability tools, and mentor others. This role is ideal for technical experts who enjoy bridging the gap between complex network data and business resilience. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration, IT System Administrator, or a comparable university degree. Certifications such as ITIL Foundation, Cisco CCNA, or CompTIA Network+ are welcome but not required.

Experience

  • Professional experience in network monitoring and analyzing network performance and stability
  • Proven experience in identifying network bottlenecks, latency, and packet loss issues
  • Experience in designing and operating monitoring solutions for hybrid IT environments (On-Prem and Cloud)
  • Experience in conducting technical workshops, training, and creating technical documentation
  • Experience in supporting pre-sales teams and explaining technical value propositions to customers
