Job Summary

As the Head of Electrical Engineering, you will lead the technical, disciplinary, and strategic direction of the electrical design department for a pioneering robotics company. You will manage a team of experienced professionals and report directly to the CTO, taking full responsibility for the electrotechnical evolution of the product portfolio. Your day-to-day involves interdisciplinary collaboration with software, embedded, and project management teams to ensure all developments meet international standards such as the Machinery Directive and UL 508A. You will oversee customer projects from planning through certification, supporting production and service teams during assembly and integration. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who can balance technical excellence with budget management and cost optimization. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a similar field; alternatively, a technical qualification as a state-certified electrical technician or master electrician.

Experience

  • Several years of practical experience in electrical design within plant engineering and series production.
  • Professional experience in mechanical engineering, robotics, or automation technology.
  • Several years of experience in technical and disciplinary team leadership or as a Senior Engineer/Technical Project Lead.
  • Proven experience in applying the European Machinery Directive and international standards.
  • Experience in cost management and budget responsibility.
