As a Chemistry Editor within the Natural Sciences editorial team, you will play a pivotal role in expanding a leading German educational publisher's portfolio. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve managing authors and meticulously editing manuscripts to ensure they meet high pedagogical and scientific standards. You will apply your didactic expertise to review and refine texts and exercises, ensuring they are linguistically and formally correct for students. Beyond content creation, you will manage small-scale projects, proactively driving the product development process from conception to completion. Required Skills
Education
Teaching qualification for Chemistry or a comparable university degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Pharmacy.
Experience
- Professional experience in chemistry, biochemistry, or pharmacy
- Experience in editing or scientific manuscript preparation
- Practical teaching experience is considered an advantage but not mandatory
- Proven experience in project coordination and organizational management
- Experience in the development or application of educational media
