Job Summary
As an IT Engineer for Fab IT Services at ESMC, you will be the primary technical contact for manufacturing operations in a state-of-the-art semiconductor facility in Dresden. Your daily responsibilities involve bridging the gap between fab users and central product development by gathering requirements, managing IT service requests, and resolving critical system alerts to ensure production stability. A major focus of the role is innovation through automation; you will develop intelligent monitoring systems designed to automatically detect and recover IT systems. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
- 1–2 years of IT experience, including internships, in software engineering or IT-related roles
- Professional experience with software engineering concepts and product lifecycle management
- Proven experience in programming and development using Python, Go, or Node.js
- Experience in customer service or user-facing technical support roles

- Willingness to participate in on-the-job training in Taiwan for up to one year; proficiency in Mandarin is accepted as an alternative to German proficiency; must be able to work in Dresden, Germany; application requires an English resume.
