Job Summary

As a Project Manager for Grid Connection at Encavis, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between large-scale renewable energy projects and the European electrical grid. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve managing the entire grid connection process for utility-scale photovoltaic (PV), wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS). You will lead technical negotiations with Distribution and Transmission System Operators (DSOs/TSOs), oversee the electrical design of medium- and high-voltage (MV/HV) infrastructure, and ensure compliance with complex grid codes. This role is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy high-level stakeholder management and technical ownership. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.

Experience

  • Approximately 3 years of professional experience in grid connection management or as a technical contributor for grid connection projects.
  • Professional experience with utility-scale renewable energy projects (PV, wind, and/or BESS).
  • Experience in managing applications and agreements with DSOs and TSOs.
  • Proven experience in technical design review and optimization of MV/HV concepts.
  • Experience in leading technical negotiations with external grid operators and EPC partners.
