Job Summary
This is a unique opportunity to join Phosphorgewinnung Schkopau (PGS) and lead the establishment of the quality department for the world's first Ash2Phos plant. As a 'working manager,' you will play a pivotal role in the circular economy by setting up and commissioning the on-site analytical laboratory. Your daily responsibilities will involve developing and validating analytical methods, conducting chemical and physical analyses, and ensuring strict compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Beyond operational tasks, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive Quality Management System (e.g., ISO 9001) and leading a small team. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys a 'hands-on' approach and wants to transition from a startup-style setup phase into a stable production environment. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Chemistry, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in an industrial environment, ideally within chemical production
- Experience in setting up or managing a laboratory is highly advantageous
- Proven experience in quality management systems and standards
- Leadership experience or a strong readiness to assume personnel responsibility
- Practical experience in instrumental analytics and documentation
