Job Summary
This role involves the programming and implementation of PLC control systems based on the IEC-61131 standard specifically for the pharmaceutical and life science sectors. As a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for developing machine and plant visualizations, connecting control technology to higher-level process control systems, and overseeing the commissioning of equipment both in-house and at client sites. The position is highly technical, requiring the creation and verification of detailed documentation in a regulated environment. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; alternatively, a qualification as a State-Certified Technician specializing in Automation Technology.
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming, specifically with Simatic S7, PCS7, or Simatic Batch
- Experience in the visualization of automated systems and machinery
- Proven background in automation technology and control systems
- Experience in commissioning industrial equipment in a technical or client-facing environment
- Experience working within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is implied

- Willingness to travel for on-site commissioning at customer locations is required. Candidates must be able to work within the specific regulatory standards of the pharmaceutical industry.
