Job Summary
As an IT Application Support Specialist at citeq, the central IT service provider for the city of Münster and surrounding regions, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of municipal software applications. Your day-to-day role involves providing technical and functional support to administrative users, particularly in the areas of citizen services, youth, and regulatory offices. You will handle administrative tasks, solve complex application issues, and design and conduct training workshops to ensure efficient software usage. Required Skills
Education
University degree with an IT focus (e.g., Administrative Informatics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Business Administration); alternatively, a Bachelor Professional in IT (IHK), completed vocational IT training (e.g., IT Specialist), or qualification for the higher administrative service (Laufbahngruppe 2, 1. Einstiegsamt).
Experience
- Professional experience in IT or digitalization is required for candidates with commercial or administrative backgrounds.
- At least one year of professional experience in IT or digitalization for civil servants in the general administrative service.
- Experience in the conception and implementation of IT training or workshops is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to structure, prioritize, and solve complex technical problems independently.
- Experience in a customer-oriented or user-support environment.
