Job Summary

This part-time (65%) position at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a European Innovation Partnership (EIP) project focused on agricultural sustainability. The successful candidate will conduct field trials to investigate the effects of oat undersowing on the diversity of flower-visiting and soil-dwelling arthropods, as well as associated ecosystem services. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning field experiments, identifying insect species using professional standards, analyzing experimental data, and presenting findings at national and international conferences. The role is based at the Institute for Natural Resource Conservation and is fixed-term until February 2029. A significant highlight of this position is the explicit encouragement and opportunity to pursue a doctoral degree (PhD) while working on the project.
