Job Summary
This role involves hands-on engineering, parameterization, and testing of protection and control systems, as well as secondary technical equipment. The engineer will be responsible for developing protection concepts, including network and setting value calculations for protective relays, and conducting detailed fault analyses. A key aspect of the role is engaging in technical exchange with suppliers, manufacturers, and energy providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical or energy engineering, either through a technical college or university degree, coupled with initial professional experience or a desire to apply their foundational knowledge of power grids and electrical systems. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the energy transition within a supportive team, with a clear path to becoming a protection expert.

Education
Completed HTL (Higher Technical Institute) education or university degree (FH or TU) with a focus on Electrical or Energy Technology
Experience
- Initial professional experience in energy technology
- Foundational knowledge of power grids and electrical systems
- Desired: Expertise in protection devices from various manufacturers and testing equipment (preferably OMICRON)

- Driving license Class B; Willingness to travel (approx. 50% predominantly within the DACH region)
