Job Summary
The Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning (BBR) is seeking an IT System Administrator to ensure system availability and continuously develop their IT systems. This role involves independently troubleshooting issues, analyzing and optimizing IT systems, and managing external service providers to maintain operations and analyze infrastructure vulnerabilities. The successful candidate will also be responsible for planning and implementing IT projects. The position requires a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent proven experience, along with several years of professional experience in IT system administration within large organizations. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Administrative Informatics, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification; or proven equivalent skills and experience. For civil servants, a salary grade up to A 11 BBesO and qualification for the higher administrative service.

- • Several years of professional experience in IT system administration in larger public authorities or companies

Additional
- Successful completion of a security clearance "Ü 2" according to the Federal Security Clearance Act (SÜG des Bundes) after a successful selection process. Must be eligible for public service employment in Germany. For foreign university degrees, proof of recognition by the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB) is required.
