Job Summary
This full-time, permanent position is for a dedicated Financial and Accounting Specialist responsible for ensuring the regularity and efficiency of the financial and accounting systems. Key responsibilities include organizing the accounting department, specifically defining, managing, and controlling the organizational structure, accounting software, and application rules. The role also involves preparing monthly and annual financial statements, which includes reviewing bookings and valuations, determining and implementing accruals, creating overviews for control and evaluation purposes, and supporting audits. The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive individual with strong nerves, possessing a background as a certified accountant, tax specialist, or business economist. They should have excellent knowledge of financial accounting, balancing, and tax law, with experience in DATEV being a plus.
