Job Summary
This role is for a dedicated Technical Specialist in Network Documentation, focusing on the Rhein-Nahe-Hunsrück region, specifically at the Bad Kreuznach or Idar-Oberstein locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating network documentation, with a particular emphasis on FTTx (Fiber to the X) technology and related databases. This involves utilizing IT applications such as CableScout, MS365, and GIS systems to ensure accurate and comprehensive data management. The position requires an individual who can grasp complex information, work diligently, and proactively support team members. It's an opportunity to contribute to Germany's largest distribution network operator, shaping the energy transition and enhancing regional infrastructure.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electrician (e.g., Energy Electrician, Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering) or comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering or a comparable field
- Interest in further training in FTTx and database maintenance
- Knowledge of FTTx technology
- Basic knowledge of required IT applications
Languages
Additional
- Must possess a Class B driving license. Willingness to work across different locations within the Rhein-Nahe-Hunsrück regional center if required. This is a temporary position for 4 years.
