Job Summary

The Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research (HZI) is seeking a Biologist to join their Chemical Biology department. This role involves contributing to an EU-funded project focused on the analytical characterization of complex secondary metabolite mixtures. The successful candidate will correlate metabolomic profiles from bacterial and fungal organisms with bioactivity and mechanistic data using computational methods, and link metabolome data to producer strain genomic information. This position requires strong analytical skills, an understanding of chemical structures, and the ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary, international team environment.
