Job Summary
The Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) is seeking a Project Coordinator for SAXFUSION, the Saxon Fusion Competence Network, at its Center for Advanced Systems Understanding (CASUS). This role involves leading the establishment, operation, and sustainability of the SAXFUSION network. The successful candidate will manage the project, including reporting, and lead a dedicated team. Key responsibilities include close cooperation with network partners, expanding the network, and serving as the central point of contact for all stakeholders, including funding bodies, industry, academia, and the press. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in energy, health, and matter within a highly networked and scientifically excellent environment.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or equivalent (Diplom) in Physics or a comparable field
Experience
- Professional experience in project management, preferably in fusion
- Experience in personnel management
- Experience in financial and content planning and reporting
- Experience in building and coordinating networks of research institutions and companies
Languages
Additional
- Temporary contract until December 31, 2027. Work location: Dresden-Rossendorf.
