Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious High-Voltage Technology Engineer to drive innovation in electric mobility through complex development projects, specifically involving deployment at BMW. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development and optimization of high-voltage technologies, including critical components like batteries, chargers, inverters, and electric drives. Daily tasks involve integrating these HV systems into vehicle architectures, rigorously ensuring safety, performance, and efficiency. A core part of the job includes performing simulations and calculations, often utilizing tools like MATLAB/Simulink, and planning extensive testing and validation under real conditions. Candidates must hold a relevant degree (e.g., Electrical or Automotive Engineering) and possess professional experience in HV system development, coupled with strong knowledge of electric drive systems and charging infrastructure.
