Job Summary

This role is based at a global pharmaceutical company in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, focusing on the development of manufacturing processes for new parenteral drugs. The Laboratory Associate will be responsible for the independent planning, preparation, execution, and evaluation of experiments related to developing processes for liquid dosage forms and lyophilized products derived from biotechnological active ingredients. Key day-to-day activities include manufacturing technical batches, supporting the transfer of processes to commercial sites, and ensuring all documentation adheres to strict internal and regulatory guidelines, specifically cGMP. The ideal candidate must hold a university degree in a relevant natural science field and possess a strong technical and pharmaceutical understanding of sterile drug manufacturing. Success in this position requires excellent scientific documentation skills and fluent communication abilities in both German and English.
