Job Summary

This role involves operating, maintaining, and evolving modern IT systems for Airbus Defence and Space in Taufkirchen. The IT Systems Engineer will be responsible for daily operations, including troubleshooting, resolving incidents (L1/L2 Support), and managing identity. A key focus is on the continuous development and implementation of the IT infrastructure, requiring skills in designing and conceptualizing new systems and the necessary operational tools. The position demands strong expertise in automation, virtualization technologies (VMware, HyperV), Windows/Linux infrastructure, and networking (Cisco, Fortigate, MikroTik). The successful candidate will also manage asset and infrastructure automation, execute security measures, and create disaster recovery plans, ensuring comprehensive system documentation and effective communication with clients and subcontractors.
