Job Summary
This role seeks a proactive and solution-oriented PLC Programmer to manage and execute complex automation projects in Radevormwald on a permanent contract. Day-to-day responsibilities include the independent planning of customer projects based on specific product and process requirements, creating user-friendly visualizations for plant control systems, and performing crucial troubleshooting and fault resolution. The successful candidate will also be responsible for parameterizing various components like scanners and frequency converters, developing comprehensive operating instructions, and leading operator training sessions. Key qualifications include a technical degree or technician certification in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, coupled with professional experience in PLC programming, particularly utilizing Siemens TIA-Portal, Step 7, and WinCC. Experience with servo drive technology and fieldbus systems is mandatory, along with a necessary willingness to travel (>20%).
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical degree, ideally in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, or completed Technician qualification specializing in Electrical Engineering / Electronics.
