Job Summary

This role is ideal for an ambitious IT professional focused on integrating and maintaining complex IT systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing rigorous hardware tests on various devices, such as workstation PCs, servers, and peripheral equipment, alongside analyzing log files to troubleshoot system failures. A significant part of the job involves optimizing and automating installation processes for PCs and servers, as well as maintaining and developing the installation environment. The successful candidate will also be responsible for updating operating systems and deploying driver updates. Key qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or a completed apprenticeship as an IT System Electronics Technician or IT Specialist, coupled with strong expertise in Microsoft Windows Server environments and Linux operating systems, including scripting.
