Job Summary
This role involves ensuring a stable and optimized overall system, specifically focusing on Infotainment applications. The System Performance Engineer will be responsible for monitoring the operating system, driver configuration, and system startup processes. A core part of the job is optimizing resource consumption and performance for both individual applications and the entire system, alongside detecting and analyzing system crashes. Key qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT training, routine experience in embedded software development using C/C++, and deep knowledge of Unix operating systems (Kernel and Userspace). Familiarity with Android system architecture, CPU scheduling, memory management, and resource management is essential, along with proficiency in performance analysis tools like perf, perfetto, and ftrace. This position offers the chance to work on exciting projects, connect technologies, and drive innovation for high-profile clients.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, certified IT Specialist, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Routine experience in embedded software development with C/C++
- Experience with Kernel-APIs (ideally)
- Experience in analysis of coredumps, memory leaks, and kernel traces
- Routine handling of performance analysis tools (perf, perfetto, ftrace, eBPF)
