Job Summary

This Executive Director role is crucial for building the commercial organization and driving revenue for the Oncology portfolio, specifically focusing on assets in Gastrointestinal (GI) and Genitourinary (GU) cancers. The incumbent will lead the Global Product Strategy team, leveraging extensive global market knowledge in Oncology, including new product development, launches, and regulatory landscapes. Day-to-day activities involve partnering with R&D to design commercially optimized clinical development programs, leading comprehensive marketing strategies (branding, positioning), and ensuring successful product launches internationally. The role requires a strong external/patient-focused approach, deep understanding of GI/GU markets, and proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional global teams to maximize commercial performance across major markets in the US, EU, and Asia.

Required Skills

Education

Undergraduate degree; MBA, PHD or similar considered a plus

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry with increasing responsibilities
  • Experience gained both in country/affiliate leadership roles and at regional or international level
  • Significant experience in launching products both internationally and nationally
  • Professional experience in global markets in the Oncology space
  • Professional experience in GI/GU markets and development of oncology assets Ph1-3
