Job Summary

This role is ideal for a passionate Software Developer eager to contribute to the interface development for advanced simulators, joining the Middleware team. This team drives the digitalization and networking of military systems, laying the foundation for simulator-based training for international clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include programming, testing, and analyzing software components based on architectural specifications, documenting developed software, and integrating software subsystems into the target system. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, possesses professional experience in software development, and demonstrates strong object-oriented programming and design skills, particularly with languages like C++. Experience with IP-based network communication is required, and familiarity with simulation protocols like DIS, HLA, or DDS is a plus. The position offers flexible working hours, mobile work options, and participation in exciting, interdisciplinary, and international projects in Bremen.
