Job Summary

This role involves operating and controlling equipment within a modern power station environment, supporting a service company specializing in the Chemical Industry across North Rhine-Westphalia. The Chemical Plant Operator will be responsible for the daily control and monitoring of power plant systems, performing routine inspections and control rounds in the field, and managing the start-up and shutdown procedures for selected power station units on-site. A critical aspect of the job is troubleshooting and resolving equipment malfunctions swiftly, alongside meticulous documentation of all activities, including the collection and analysis of operational data. Candidates must possess a completed vocational training as a Chemical Plant Operator or Industrial Mechanic, coupled with mandatory advanced training as a Power Plant Operator or Boiler Attendant, and demonstrated experience with process engineering systems. Excellent German language skills (written and spoken) are required, as is the willingness to work in rotating shifts.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Chemical Plant Operator or Industrial Mechanic, or equivalent qualification. Mandatory advanced training as a Power Plant Operator or Boiler Attendant.
