Electronics Technician / Mechatronics Technician for Field Service | Elektroniker (m/w/d) Servicetechnik

Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Electronics or Mechatronics Technician to join the field service team for a renowned client specializing in industrial automation technology. The primary responsibilities involve the full lifecycle support of industrial systems, including the installation and commissioning of new plants, performing regular maintenance and service on existing equipment at customer sites, and conducting professional training for customer personnel. Before deployment, the technician will also be responsible for assembling and testing new systems in-house. A critical component of the job is meticulous documentation, including the creation of service reports and protocols, alongside providing expert customer consultation and resolving technical issues on-site. The ideal candidate must possess a relevant technical qualification, professional experience in mechatronic system assembly and commissioning, strong troubleshooting skills, and a willingness to travel regionally and internationally. Basic knowledge of STEP7 and/or TIA Portal is a plus.
