Job Summary

This role seeks a highly motivated Field Service Technician to join a renowned client in the metal industry, focusing on machinery and plant engineering. The core responsibilities involve autonomous commissioning and performance testing of complex machinery and systems at customer sites globally. Day-to-day tasks include resolving functional faults, performing process optimization adjustments, and occasionally assisting with internal assembly work. A crucial aspect of this position is acting as the primary on-site technical contact for customers, which includes conducting operator training. Candidates must possess a strong technical background, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering, coupled with at least five years of relevant professional experience in machine and plant construction, and excellent proficiency in English. Expertise in PLC programming, specifically Siemens S7, is a mandatory requirement for success in this demanding international role.
