Job Summary

This Material Manager role involves the critical administration and maintenance of material master data, focusing heavily on regulatory compliance and component management within an electro-technical environment. Day-to-day tasks include independently assigning customs tariff numbers, managing GTIN and GS1 numbers, and processing quality notifications. A key responsibility is evaluating and introducing suitable replacement materials for discontinued components in devices and assemblies, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements such as REACH and RoHS. The ideal candidate possesses a technical background in electrical engineering (or a MINT degree), fundamental knowledge of electronic components, and practical experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system.
