Job Summary

This Senior Electrical Planning Engineer role is critical for driving CO₂ neutrality in the commercial and industrial sector by developing secure, efficient, and innovative New Energy systems. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the independent development of comprehensive AC concepts for commercial photovoltaic (PV) plants, energy storage, charging infrastructure, and energy management systems, including measurement, protection, and control concepts. You will ensure strict compliance with applicable standards (VDE 4105, 4110, grid operator TABs), select major components, and manage timely grid applications and certification documentation. A key part of the role includes approving Single Line Diagrams (SLD), performing cable calculations, and conducting technical site surveys. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification, possesses several years of experience in AC planning for energy systems, and has fundamental knowledge of grid connection guidelines and protection technology. This position offers the opportunity to actively shape the future of electrical engineering within a dynamic CleanTech Unicorn focused on renewable energy and AI-based energy platforms, while also mentoring junior team members.

Required Skills
