This role involves the comprehensive installation, configuration, and maintenance of advanced security and communications systems, primarily focusing on Bosch products. The technician will be responsible for setting up Bosch fire alarm systems (like FPA-5000), intrusion detection systems (MAP 5000/B-Series), video surveillance (IP cameras, BVMS), and access control (AMS). Day-to-day tasks include wiring, commissioning voice alarm systems (SAA), integrating all components into central control systems (GLT) using network protocols (TCP/IP, OPC), and performing routine maintenance and fault finding according to strict industry standards (DIN VDE 0833, EN 54). Required Skills

Education

Equivalent qualification as IT Systems Electronics Technician, IT Specialist for System Integration/Application Development, Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, Information Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or similar technical background

Experience

  • Professional experience in low-voltage technology, especially safety and communication technology
  • Experience with Bosch systems (FPA-5000, MAP 5000, BVMS, PRAESENSA, or AMS)
  • Experience in installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fire alarm, intrusion, and video surveillance systems
  • Experience integrating systems into IP networks and central building management technology (GLT)
