Job Summary

This role is for an Electrical Design Engineer based in Nürtingen, focused on planning and constructing complete electrical systems for specialized machinery. Day-to-day responsibilities include generating detailed circuit and pneumatic diagrams using EPLAN P8, performing necessary PL calculations with Sistema, and selecting and sizing appropriate electrical components. A core part of the job involves the planning and documentation of control cabinets, along with managing technical documentation and change records. Candidates must have successfully completed vocational training or possess several years of professional experience as an Electrical Designer or in automation technology, demonstrating secure proficiency with EPLAN P8. While not mandatory, initial experience in electrical design for machine or plant construction and basic knowledge of PLC programming (e.g., Siemens S7) are advantageous.
