Job Summary

This role involves leading the technical development and infrastructure management for "Entscheidungsnavi," a web-based decision support system rooted in decision research and used across business, politics, and education. The specialist will spearhead the development, organize and moderate weekly developer meetings for a team of seven, and ensure high code quality through rigorous code reviews. Key technical responsibilities include advanced full-stack development using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, (S)CSS, and NestJS, combined with expertise in MongoDB, Docker, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab), and Linux server administration. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and excellent proficiency in both German and English (C1 level). It is an excellent opportunity for a highly independent and reliable developer to take ownership of a critical, continuously evolving academic project and integrate cutting-edge web technologies and AI trends.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent higher education degree

Experience

  • Demonstrated programming expertise and experience in Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and (S)CSS
  • Secure handling of modern frontend development and build tools
  • Experience with NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB
  • Practical experience in backend development, ideally with NestJS
  • Extensive experience with Git
  • Ability to administer projects in GitLab, including setting up CI/CD pipelines
  • Advanced knowledge in administering Linux-based servers
  • Experience with the Proxmox VE virtualization platform
  • Proficient handling of Docker for container building, operation, and dynamic routing
  • Extensive knowledge in using and configuring NGINX and Apache
