Job Summary

The Metrology Technician is responsible for ensuring strict adherence to internal and external quality requirements by performing precise testing and approval of manufactured components. A core function of this role involves creating and executing measurement programs for 3D Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), specifically utilizing PC-DMIS software and specialized equipment like HEXAGON/WERTH. Daily tasks include production-accompanying measurements, planning and carrying out initial samples (Bemusterungen), and executing necessary requalification tests. The ideal candidate must possess solid professional experience in Quality Assurance, strong practical knowledge of quality methods such as FAI, PPF, and SPC, and proficiency in managing work and test instructions. This position requires supporting manufacturing personnel with testing activities and coordinating metrological drawing specifications, making it a critical role in maintaining high quality throughout the production lifecycle.
