Job Summary

This role involves working as a Biological Technician or Laboratory Technician specializing in Pharmaceutical Microbiology, based in Münster. The successful candidate will be responsible for the quality control and testing of pharmaceutical raw materials, excipients, active ingredients, and finished drug products according to national and international pharmacopeia standards (EP, USP). Day-to-day tasks include performing various microbiological analyses such as sterility testing, bacterial endotoxin testing, total viable count determination, and preservative efficacy tests. A core part of the job is the GMP-compliant evaluation and documentation of results, including data entry into the laboratory information system and maintenance of the controlled substances database. This position requires a high degree of responsibility, meticulous work habits, and a collaborative spirit, offering the opportunity to contribute to the development of established procedures and the introduction of new analytical methods.
