Job Summary

This role as Manager, Financial Reporting, involves ensuring BioNTech meets all financial accounting and reporting obligations accurately and on time. Key responsibilities include supporting the preparation of individual and consolidated financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annual) according to HGB and IFRS, as well as assisting with critical SEC filings such as Form 20-F and 6-K. The manager will also be responsible for standardizing reporting instruments, handling financial tasks related to the Annual General Meeting, and advising international subsidiaries on IAS/IFRS accounting matters. Candidates must hold a degree in economics or business administration and possess several years of professional experience in group accounting, ideally gained at a Big Four firm or within a corporate environment. Advanced knowledge of IFRS and HGB is mandatory, along with fluency in both German and English. This position requires a strong understanding of the regulatory framework for a publicly listed company.
