Job Summary

This role as an Electrical/Electronics System Analysis and Requirements Engineer involves defining the future of complex mechatronic products. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of electrical system artifacts, performing initial system analysis, defining detailed requirements, and creating electrical (sub)-sub-system specifications. A core part of the job is ensuring strict adherence to the V-Model development process and coordinating technical implementation across various specialist departments. You will also review and manage the maturity level and approval of all relevant system artifacts according to project milestones. Success requires a university background in Electrical or Automotive Engineering and several years of professional experience in requirements management, particularly with mechatronic systems. Proficiency in tools like DOORS and methodologies such as UML/SysML for use-case analysis is essential. The position offers a high degree of independent work, flexible hours, and the option for up to 40% remote work after initial training.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or comparable field.

Experience

  • Several years of experience in requirements management and system requirements for mechatronic products
  • Several years of experience using DOORS and Use-Case Analysis (UML/SysML)
  • Experience with system architectures (advantageous)
  • Experience in system development following the V-Model and military or automotive standards (advantageous)
