Job Summary

This role involves deep system analysis and defining electrical and electronic requirements within a complex engineering environment, focusing on mechatronic products. The engineer will be responsible for creating electrical (sub)-sub-system specifications and related system artifacts, strictly adhering to the V-Model development process. Key daily tasks include conducting Use-Case analysis, developing system solutions for electrical artifacts, and coordinating closely with the System Project team and technical departments regarding implementation. A critical component of the job is reviewing, approving, and ensuring the maturity level of all electrical specifications aligns with project milestones. Candidates must possess a university degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, coupled with several years of experience in requirements management and proficiency in tools like DOORS and methodologies like UML/SysML. The position offers a permanent contract, flexible working hours, and up to 40% remote work after the initial onboarding phase.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or comparable field

Experience

  • Several years of experience in requirements management and system requirements for mechatronic products
  • Several years of experience with DOORS and Use-Case analysis using UML/SysML
  • Experience in handling system architectures (advantageous)
  • Experience in system development according to the V-Model and with military or automotive standards (advantageous)
