This permanent role as an IT Specialist involves crucial project coordination and requirements management within the General Directorate for Waterways and Shipping (GDWS). Day-to-day responsibilities include developing detailed IT plans, evaluating emerging technologies, managing resources and budgets, and defining project timelines and milestones. A core function is leading or contributing to IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational IT strategy, and driving digitalization efforts by performing comprehensive requirements analysis, validation, and prioritization. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or possess a non-CS degree coupled with at least five years of verifiable professional experience in IT project coordination and requirements management. The role requires strong conceptual thinking, excellent stakeholder communication skills, and preferably, expertise in established project management methodologies. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (FH Diploma/Bachelor) in Computer Science (including Theoretical, Practical, Technical, Applied, Business, Media, Bio, Geo Informatics, or Data Science)

Experience

  • 5 years of verifiable professional experience in IT planning and coordination (required if degree is non-Computer Science)
  • Experience in planning and executing IT projects
  • Professional experience in requirements management principles and tools
