Job Summary

This crucial role as a Strategic Service Portfolio Planner involves working as a primary digitalization partner for the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr), contributing directly to national security and the modernization of one of Germany's largest IT infrastructures. You will be responsible for specific segments of the BWI Portfolio, potentially focusing on areas like ITMC or InfoSec, acting as the subject matter expert. Day-to-day tasks include developing strategic positioning papers and long-term goals for your area, identifying optimization potential, and deriving necessary changes. You will represent these measures on the Portfolio Roadmap, commission their development, and coordinate implementation across different portfolio and architecture teams. Success requires a completed university degree in a commercial-technical field, coupled with at least seven years of post-graduate experience in IT Product or Portfolio Management. Strong leadership competence, analytical thinking, and fluency in both German and English are essential for this challenging and impactful position.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in a commercial-technical field (e.g., Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Commercial Law) or equivalent. Certification in Product and IT Service Management (e.g., ITIL) is ideal.
