Job Summary

This role involves ensuring safety, quality, and sustainability by independently conducting statutory inspections of safety-critical systems, primarily focusing on electrical installations, emergency power supplies, safety lighting, fire alarm, and alerting systems in accordance with building regulations. The engineer will perform pre-commissioning and recurring inspections of fixed operating equipment, contributing significantly to maintaining electrical safety and preventing fire hazards. Key qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably recognition as a certified expert inspector for safety-critical systems (or willingness to obtain it), and multi-year professional experience in the planning, construction, maintenance, or operation of electrical systems. The position requires strong communication skills, a confident demeanor, and a willingness to travel for fieldwork, primarily within the Berlin/Brandenburg region.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable field of study. Technical vocational training is beneficial. Certification as a Certified Expert Inspector (Prüfsachverständiger) for safety-critical systems or VdS Expert (or willingness to obtain it promptly) is ideal.

Experience

  • Multi-year professional experience in the planning, construction, maintenance, or operation of electrical systems (desirable)
