Job Summary

This role involves critical IT infrastructure support within the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) at the Command Information Technology Services in Mechernich. The IT Data Processor is responsible for the full lifecycle management of IT and crypto components, including setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex systems within a secure data center environment, specifically located in an underground facility. Key daily tasks include performing maintenance and repair work, managing material inventories, and processing highly classified IT documentation. A crucial aspect of this position is planning and documenting regular safety checks (DGUV V3) for electrical equipment, requiring the candidate to be a qualified electrician or willing to undergo the necessary training. The ideal candidate holds vocational training in IT or electronics and is proficient in MS Office.
