Job Summary
This role involves providing essential 2nd-Level IT application support for Personnel Management systems, primarily focusing on SAP HCM, within the central IT department of the state capital of Stuttgart. The specialist acts as the primary contact person for users, offering competent advice and independently analyzing and resolving complex errors and inquiries. A key responsibility is implementing and maintaining the authorization concept, ensuring secure and traceable system access by evaluating user permission requests. Additionally, the role requires creating and maintaining clear system documentation, handbooks, and instructions to ensure sustainable system usage. Candidates should possess a degree in IT or a relevant IT qualification (such as an IT Specialist certification) combined with significant professional experience, and ideally have knowledge of SAP HCM and personnel IT procedures. The position offers a secure, permanent role focused on continuous improvement within the city's digitalization strategy.
