Job Summary

This Development Engineer role focuses on advanced EUV Fiber Laser technology within a high-tech company specializing in machine tools and laser systems. The core responsibilities involve planning, executing, and evaluating comprehensive tests on fiber laser technologies. You will also be responsible for the modeling and simulation of complex optical system properties, utilizing tools such as Matlab and Python. A significant part of the role includes direct project management, guiding technical initiatives from initial concept development through to successful product introduction. Collaboration is key, requiring close interaction with production, service departments, and external customers to resolve technical issues and develop innovative solutions. Candidates must possess a Master's degree or PhD in Physics or a relevant engineering discipline, coupled with practical experience in optics, laser physics, and optical metrology. Proficiency in both German and English is required, alongside high flexibility and a willingness to travel between the Jena and Ditzingen locations.
