Job Summary

This role is central to pharmaceutical manufacturing at the Penzberg site, focusing on the reliable and high-quality supply of vital medicines globally. As a Technical Operator, your primary responsibilities include controlling and monitoring highly automated production plants using process control systems (PLS). You will be required to meticulously document all work steps in strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. Daily manual tasks involve preparing mobile equipment, weighing materials, sampling, and performing basic analyses such as pH and conductivity measurements. A crucial part of the job is supporting maintenance and validation activities, collaborating closely with process experts and technical teams. The ideal candidate has a completed technical or scientific vocational training (e.g., Laboratory Technician or Chemical Technician) and ideally brings experience in automated production within a GMP setting. This position offers exposure to core pharma processes and opportunities for development into expert or leadership roles, requiring flexibility for two-shift work and on-call duties.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in a scientific-technical field (e.g., Laboratory Technician, Chemical Technician, Pharmaceutical Technician, or Bio/Food Technology)

Experience

  • Professional experience with automated production plants and processes
  • Experience working within a GMP environment is preferred
  • Willingness to work in a flexible two-shift model (including occasional nights)
  • Willingness to perform on-call duties
