Job Summary

The Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) is seeking a Master Electrician to manage and supervise the complex electrical infrastructure across four of its properties in Berlin and Brandenburg. This crucial role involves acting as the responsible electrical expert for high-voltage systems and the electrical workshop, ensuring technical safety and compliance across new and historic buildings, including specialized scientific laboratories. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading, deploying, and developing a team of six employees, coordinating external service providers, overseeing maintenance schedules, and managing procurement processes related to the electrical systems. Candidates must possess a completed Master Electrician certification, profound knowledge of relevant technical norms (VDE, DIN, DGUV), and demonstrable initial leadership experience.
