Job Summary
This role as an Electrical Engineer involves hands-on technical work across the product lifecycle, focusing on complex electronic devices, often within security-sensitive environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include the manufacturing of printed circuit boards (PCBs) for individual devices and small series production. A critical component of the job is conducting detailed repairs of electronic equipment, sometimes requiring work down to the component level, including deployment aboard German Navy ships. Furthermore, the engineer will actively contribute to the development, testing, and optimization of innovative electronic devices and systems. Candidates must possess a degree or qualification in Electrical Engineering, fundamental knowledge of analog and digital technology, and a high degree of self-reliance and diligence. Uniquely, due to the nature of the projects (military/security), German citizenship is a mandatory requirement.
Required Skills
Education
Degree or vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering (e.g., Certified Electrician, Electrical Engineer)
Experience
- Completed degree or vocational training in Electrical Engineering
- Professional experience in electronics development (ideal)
- Experience performing repairs on electronic devices down to component level
- Experience working in demanding technical environments (e.g., aboard ships)
