Job Summary
This role involves taking responsibility for the project management and execution of studies focused on analyzing electrical energy systems, network planning, and grid development. The Project Engineering Consultant will be instrumental in the planning, analysis, and simulation of electrical power systems, including the modeling of network elements and power electronics. Key responsibilities include coordinating engineers across various technical groups and virtual, multicultural teams, and actively participating in pre-acquisition and sales activities to expand the business. A core focus is the integration of power electronic devices, renewable generation, and storage into AC networks through concept, feasibility, and tender studies, as well as project execution. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Electrical Power Engineering, solid experience in a comparable field, and proficiency in network simulation programs like PSS/E or PowerFactory, along with fluent German and English communication skills.
