Job Summary
This role is ideal for a skilled Chemical Laboratory Technician or CTA looking for an opportunity in Karlsruhe, initially via temporary employment with the possibility of permanent takeover. Day-to-day responsibilities include the independent sampling of various materials such as fly ash, water, and gypsum directly at the site. A core part of the job involves the detailed analysis of solid and water samples utilizing both instrumental techniques, including sieve machines, laser granulometers, and ion chromatographs, and traditional wet chemical methods. Furthermore, the technician will conduct accredited moisture determinations of coal samples using thermogravimetry, manage sample preparation, ensure quality assurance measures are met according to accreditation standards, evaluate measurement results, and effectively utilize the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Success requires completed vocational training and an independent, careful working approach.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician (Chemielaborant), Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), or comparable qualification.
Experience
- Ideally initial professional experience in laboratory analysis and sampling
- Ability to work carefully and independently

- Initial employment via temporary contract (Arbeitnehmerüberlassung) with option for permanent takeover. Work location is the Karlsruhe site.
