Job Summary

This role involves acting as a Flight Control System Test Engineer for Airbus Defence and Space, focusing on the integration and verification phases of flight control systems. Key daily responsibilities include creating the Integration Verification Plan (IVP) for L2 and L3, defining the verification strategy, and assigning Means of Compliance (M0C) to functional requirements using DOORS. The engineer will be responsible for L3 bench validation, executing system and hardware/software integration tests, and implementing equipment integration requirements into test procedures. A core part of the job involves performing tests on test rigs, evaluating results, analyzing signal graphs, and generating comprehensive test reports. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, possesses knowledge of flight control systems, and is experienced in SCADE model-based testing and DOORS for requirements traceability. Fluency in English is mandatory, making this an attractive role within the European aerospace sector.

Additional

  • Knowledge of ARP-4754 and the verification process for DO-178/DO-331 is an advantage. Knowledge of Python and GIT/Bitbucket for change control and versioning is an advantage.
