Job Summary

This Electromechanical Development Engineer role involves the comprehensive design and construction of mechanical components for electrical assemblies, guiding projects from initial concept through to series production. A core responsibility is managing the routing and installation of cables within vehicles and devices. You will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and Bills of Material (BOMs) derived from CAD constructions, alongside supporting the creation of technical specifications for electrical systems and assemblies using tools like DOORS. Furthermore, you will manage change requests for existing vehicle fleets and oversee external development service providers. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering and possesses professional experience in electromechanical construction. Success in this role requires secure handling of Siemens NX and PDM systems, fluent German and intermediate English proficiency, along with a willingness to undertake occasional business trips.
