Job Summary

This role is dedicated to actively shaping the digitalization of German public administration by focusing on interoperable data exchange to create more efficient and user-friendly processes. The Consultant will guide public sector clients through complex digitalization projects, contributing actively to team knowledge transfer and developing specialized technical standards for data interchange, such as those related to the Once Only principle and Register Modernization. Key responsibilities include organizing and moderating committee meetings, gathering and aligning requirements with clients, and providing deep methodological and technical expertise. This position requires a strong communicator who can structure complex technical information and present it clearly to non-technical audiences. Candidates should possess initial consulting experience, ideally within the public sector, and a strong interest in political and societal topics related to public sector digital transformation.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Business Informatics, Administrative Sciences, Data Science, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Initial professional experience as a Consultant/Advisor
  • Professional experience in the public administration sector (preferred)
  • Competence in consulting methodologies (requirement gathering, process and data analysis and modeling, analysis of legal foundations)
  • Experience in project and team leadership (desirable)
